Dr. Annie Pérez a Nuyorican with 37 years of marriage and two married sons. She holds an education spanning different disciplines, including a Bachelor's degree and registration in Nursing, a Master's degree and licensing in Marriage and Family Counseling, and a Doctoral degree in Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology.

She has addressed diverse audiences across the Americas and overseas, and on Spanish TV programs for Hope Channel. She's been involved in service and mission trips globally. One significant highlight was her work with the United States President's Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Tanzania in 2013, enlarging her views on global health issues.

Dr. Pérez is the facilitator of the "Hope for Hurting Hearts" retreat for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

From 2017 to 2022, she served as the Prayer Ministries and Women's Ministries director for the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Church. Presently, she works in her private psychological practice, "A State of Mind Consulting."

Her central passion revolves around sharing the transformative power of Jesus, especially in healing, empowerment, and family dynamics.
